Priorities include anti-social behaviour (including criminal damage), assault with injury (including alcohol related violent crime), domestic abuse and serious acquisitive crime (including domestic burglary and vehicle crime). This will help the Partnership to work to reduce crime and disorder and improve the quality of local life.
The plan sets out what action will be taken and who will do it, how action will be measured as to whether it is successful and how consultations will be carried out with the people of Erewash. The Community Safety Partnership is a joint venture involving local authorities, emergency services, and the local health authorities and is funded by a County Council Local Area Agreement district community safety grant, Derbyshire Police through the Basic Command Unit fund and through a community safety budget held by Erewash Borough Council.
