Bob StaveleyA new website has been launched to promote all the arts events, venues, artists and arts clubs and societies across Derbyshire. The artsderbyshire website is a free resource that gives the public the chance to find out more about the arts in the county – while it is also a great information and support site for people working or wanting to work in the arts and creative sector. One feature of the new website is a ‘What’s On’ listing of performances, festivals and other arts events – which can be searched by date, location or type of event. Other highlights include advice on how to develop an artistic business, a free e-newsletter and details of individual artists, funding sources, training opportunities and how to get involved in volunteering in the arts. Described as a ‘living website’, it can be found at www.artsderbyshire.org.uk
