TV celebrities to help raise hospice funds
A reality TV show contestant and former soapstar, now TV weatherman are to attend an event to raise funds for Risley's Treetops Hospice. 'The Apprentice' contestant Howard Ebison will be joined by 2009 winner Yasmina Siadatan at the fundraising event to be held at Latino's Restaurant, Chilwell Road, Beeston on March 26th at 7:30pm. Choir to perform for Treetops
A concert is to be held in aid of Treetops Hospice and featuring Bestwood Male Voice Choir and The Settlement Singers. The event will be held at Ockbrook Moravian Church in The Settlement, Ockbrook on Saturday 13th March starting at 7:30pm. Entrance is just £5 including refreshments, with payment on the door.
The Risley Parents & Toddler Group
The Risley Parents & Toddler Group meet on Wednesday mornings during term time from 9:15am - 11:15am at the Risley Village Hall. Children aged 0 to 5 are welcome and light refreshments are included.
Appeal For New Members By A Group Of Business & Professional Women
A group of retired and semi-retired business and professional women is seeking new members to join them at monthly meetings. Long Eaton Ladies' Probus Club meets at The Risley Park Inn, Derby Road, Risley, on the first of each month to enjoy lunch and hear a talk from a guest speaker.
