Supermarket helps hospice

Treetops Hospice is to benefit from a fundraising drive by a national supermarket chain.  The Morrisons Group has forged a partnership with national organisation 'Help The Hospices' for 2010, with each store being linked with a nearby hospice.  The Derby branch at the Meteor Centre has been teamed with Risley's Treetops as staff at the Derby Road site continue to raise money to build and equip a new extension.

KIDZ AKTIV: The Risley Parents & Toddler Group

The Risley Parents & Toddler Group meet on Wednesday mornings during term time from 9:15am - 11:15am at the Risley Village Hall.  Children aged 0 to 5 are welcome and light refreshments are included.

Appeal For New Members By A Group Of Business & Professional Women

A group of retired and semi-retired business and professional women is seeking new members to join them at monthly meetings.  Long Eaton Ladies' Probus Club meets at The Risley Park Inn, Derby Road, Risley, on the first of each month to enjoy lunch and hear a talk from a guest speaker.  If you're interested, eligible and would like to find out more about joining the Club, pop along to the Risley Park before a forthcoming meeting.
