The Erewash Sound Roadshow is the first and only choice for an increasing number of charities, community organisations and businesses across the Borough.

We’ve regularly appeared at some of the biggest carnivals, galas and festivals around Erewash including the Ockash 2000 Festival, Ockash Festival Of Light, Ilkeston’s Midsummer Happening and the Ilkeston Community Hospital Garden Party, the Long Eaton Carnival, the Erewash Novice Triathlon, Wilsthorpe Enterprise Carnival, as well as providing corporate public address for scores of businesses, retail developments and charity events including superstores, shopping centres, cinemas, car dealerships, abseils and more.

We also provide an increasing number of DISCOs to local schools in the Erewash region to help them raise valuable funds.

Erewash Sound can provide a tailor-made music and entertainment service for your event including:

• A DISCO with full light show, a comprehensive and original music selection and experienced staff, with services available for a wide variety of events from children's parties to family functions such as birthdays, anniversaries and weddings.
• Public Address for carnivals, fetes, garden parties, business launches, business functions and fund-raising events.
• A compere service only (where required - please enquire for full details).

We’re experienced enough to know when either more or less sound is required for an event or feature, but can work with you to provide the right level for all. Subject to prior discussion, we can bring an appropriate sound system to your event, including both cable-based and radio microphones.

Our presenters aim to promote activities and attractions at the event, through the use of radio microphones, bringing people to stalls, side shows and other events as much as possible, and we're happy to announce and co-ordinate prize draws, raffles and other similar announcements as and when required. Radio microphones are also available for arena acts to compere their own performances where necessary.

An Erewash Sound Roadshow includes all the same exciting factors of the on-air radio service:

• A music selection of 'favourites of today and yesterday' with requests, dedications and relay of other messages always available.
• High levels of personality-led presentation and interactivity.

• Co-ordination of activities and arena acts allowing you to deal with other important event-related commitments.
• Experience and awareness of the need to broadcast appropriate and often necessary public service information.
• Filling in between arena acts with our own unique blend of entertainment, fun, games & music.

Why should I choose the Erewash Sound Roadshow?

Erewash Sound is a non-profit making voluntary community-orientated organisation, but with over a decade of experience. All monies received go towards running costs and general improvements to services provided. As a community-minded organisation, we do our utmost to support local charities and community groups. Our prices are highly competitive compared to other service providers, and are set with a view to considering practicality levels for both the organisers of the event and the Erewash Sound personnel involved, especially the need to cover group insurance costs.

Whilst we appreciate that monies raised at a charity event are best channelled into the charity, hiring the Erewash Sound Roadshow also supports a community concern, whilst also making great steps to creating an enjoyable, entertaining and successful event for all!

Our experience has shown that an entertained audience leads to an increased level of popularity and reputation for key events.

How much does it cost? How do I book or find out more?

• DISCO Roadshow: Prices range from just £80.00 for a 2 hour children's DISCO, including full hosting and general co-ordination, to £175.00 for a full evening function DISCO for events such as birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, or other private functions.  With a more than adequate light show and up to 10,000 tracks available on the night, we'll not be short of much for your perfect event! • Public Address: Because the nature and duration of events vary, our rates are also similarly varied. Please enquire for more details.

Points to note:

• A £25 deposit is required to secure the booking with the remainder due on the day of the event. Receipts are provided where required.
• Erewash Sound staff are fully insured whilst on station business.
• Erewash Sound provides a service on the understanding that event organisers retain responsibility for the coverage of all appropriate musical and recording copyright society fees for the relevant societies. (We can offer advice and guidance on this issue where required.)
• ALL Erewash Sound presenters appear in corporate identification, which includes the crew member’s name and the station logo.
• We respectfully ask for sufficient notice prior to the date of the event for which a service is required. We reserve the right to refuse to accept a booking where already booked, where staffing is not available, or where insufficient notice is given.
• Booking is recommended due to our all-year round booking schedule.
