Lazy Sunday

Lazy Sunday

Sunday mornings present a great opportunity to take it easy, so put the kettle on, get out the biscuits or chocolates, relax and indulge yourself in a Lazy Sunday.

Ian Perry is your host, helping you to make the best of Sunday mornings and take it easy with a good cuppa, the Sunday newspapers, and do as little as possible for at least three hours! For those working, it's a case of kettle on more often and enforced breaks from the daily grind!

Each week, Ian brings you all the regular features including:

10:20 The Word On Health: Paul Pennington reports on health matters affecting the nation.

10:45: 2Hits2Who: Clues from 10am leading to two tracks back to back from an artist you may well have forgotten about - also known as 'The Owl Spot' - you work it out!

11:10: Weekend Sports Wrap: A quick digest of scores and fixtures from in and around the borough.

11:30: One Hit Wonders: We turn the clocks back and play a hit from an artist who failed to get any more.

11:45: Not The Same Song: two tracks, different songs, different artists, same title.

12:10: The Cinema Guide: What's on at Ilkeston's Scala Cinema.

12:20: Collaborations: two great artists, one great song. We celebrate the results of duetting artists from across the decades.

12:30: The Name Game: can YOU come up with a song featuring a person's name? It could even be YOUR name! Why not suggest one for a future show?

...and we'll throw in plenty of local news and information and of course, great songs, JUST for Erewash.
