The Breaston May Day Gala will be held on Monday 6th May from 11am to 4pm. Expect a packed day of events with lots of stalls and, weather permitting, a fly past from two Spitfires from the Lincolnshire-based Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.
Donations on the gate of £1 per person please for everyone aged over 12.
Erewash Borough Council Town Halls will bring in new weekday opening hours from Monday 13th May.

A Fashion Show is to be held at All Saints' Church in Sawley on 13th April at 4:00pm in aid of The Canaan Trust Ladies House 'The Aspire' which is due to open this year.

Erewash Borough Council leader James Dawson has helped serve up refreshments after officially opening a new tearoom at the borough’s award-winning museum.
Erewash residents who missed the March 31st deadline to continue getting their garden waste collected for just £20 until March 2025, still have an opportunity to do so after a decision was made by Erewash Borough Council to extend the cut-price deal into April.
