The Long Eaton Natural History Society is staging another in the series of popular wildlife walks on Saturday 1st August at Netherfield Lagoons.

To take part, meet at 10am at the approach from the Colwick Loop Road via Victoria Retail Park. Park at the barrier across the road at the end of Teal Close, NG4 2PE, SK 628 411.

For Teal Close turn left off the second roundabout. 2-3 hour walk on good footpaths. The site has a rich and varied wildlife, and is popular with birdwatchers.  The leader will be Peter Smith.

LENS Membership costs £25 a year for all events except ‘specials’. All LENS Wildlife Talks only £15. Cost for visitors £2.50 per meeting.

Please wear waterproof footwear and clothing.  Walks are on muddy and uneven ground. If weather is uncertain check event is going ahead.
