Call to Erewash key workers to get involved in Arts Project

Published on: Friday, 22nd May 2020

An appeal has been issued to key workers in Erewash to get involved in an Arts Council funded project.

Essential work could be bus drivers, refuse collectors, cashiers, shop assistants, volunteers in the community, helping at food banks, getting shopping for neighbours, nurses, doctors, police.  Any and all jobs in the community are essential during Covid-19.   Joy Pitts from appealed for residents, specifically from Erewash to come forward, with all welcome and with an open ear to hear about what such key workers have been doing.

Responses have been requested in the form of two things including the contributor's name and the essential work that they carry out to joy @ (closing the gaps in the e-mail address before sending your message).

The aim is gather a total of 400 names and use them in a similar way to a World War 1 project which was completed, again with Arts Council funding, back in 2015.
