Dashcam appeal following armed robbery in Breaston

Derbyshire Police officers are appealing for information following an armed robbery in Breaston.

The incident took place at around 4.30pm on Sunday 9th June when a man entered the Co-op in Main Street, Breaston before threatening staff and demanding cash and cigarettes.

He made off in a silver Renault Daily van, registration LV09 OVZ, which drove off down Blind Lane towards Stevens Lane.  The vehicle had been stolen from a property in Long Eaton overnight from around 10pm on June 3rd.

Detectives are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen the van parked up between June 4 and June 9 – as well as anyone with any dashcam or CCTV from around the Breaston area.

Anyone with video footage is being asked to download and keep it safe for an officer to view.
