Delta variant remains a concern in Long Eaton

DELTA VARIANT IN LONG EATON: The existence of the Delta variant of the coronavirus in the Long Eaton area continues to be an area of concern for local and regional health officials.  The variant is known to spread more easily than others that were previously common.

To help stop the spread, you should:

  • Get BOTH doses of the vaccine when you are offered it, and encourage others to do so as well.
  • Get regular tests in your local area, whether you are vaccinated or not.
  • Selt isolate IMMEDIATELY if you have symptoms of COVID-19 (a high temperature, a new continuous cough or a loss or change to yuor sense of taste or smell) or if you have tested positive for COVID-19.
