Erewash Primary Care Network are running drop-in clinics for people to receive their first dose Covid-19 vaccine at Long Eaton Health Centre on Saturday 19th June and Saturday 26th June and at Littlewick Medical Centre in Ilkeston on Saturday 26th June.

In a bid to ensure as many borough residents are vaccinated as possible, the announcement comes after the lifting of lockdown on June 21st was put back by the Government by four weeks.  Anyone who lives in Erewash and aged 18 and over is being offered the chance to attend for a vaccine over a three and a half hour period between 9am and 12:30pm without the need to book an apppointment.

A spokesperson for the Care Network said that the sessions would offer the Pfizer vaccine only but on a 'first come, first served' basis.

Isabel Kelsey said: "We look forward to welcoming as many as possible to our drop-in clinics, and will look at scheduling more if these are successful.”
