At the beginning of December 2020, Erewash Sound launched a competition to give one Erewash-based business the chance to kick start the New Year if selected as the winner.

The competition generated a fantastic response from local businesses each hoping to win with many explaining the impact of the pandemic on trading, but also what it would mean to them to be selected at random as the winner.

At the beginning of January, Ewenited Yarns, based in Main Street, Long Eaton but also trading on-line, was selected as the winner and is already benefiting from having had a FREE tailor-made commercial air-time package made for them, with their full input, with that commercial now being heard by thousands of people across the Erewash borough and beyond on two FM frequencies and on-line too.

We'll have more on this story soon, but in the meantime, congratulations to John and all of the team at Ewenited Yarns on their success.

If you submitted an entry for your business in December but were unsuccessful, commiserations, but don't be downhearted!  There is another chance to win as we are running the competition again throughout January with the winner announced from valid entries in early February, and if you DIDN'T enter last month, don't forget to get involved - either way, make sure that you submit your entry before 2359:59 on January 31st!
