Management of a Long Eaton charity shop have issued an appeal for more donations and volunteers aged 18 and over, to help keep it going.

The People's Dispensary for Sick Animals (PDSA) store in the town has a donation drop off point at the back of the store but local residents can also contact them on 0115 946 9990 for any further information.

They are in need of handbags, bric-a-brac, homeware, shoes and ladies clothing but all electrical items can also be taken.

There is a plan to keep the Market Place store open on Sundays. A lead volunteer is needed to grow and work with the management team to make this happen.

For more information, you can also send e-mail to long.eaton.shop @ pdsa.org.uk.
