Mamma Mia! Dementia Friendly Film Screening: 25th February 2020

The hit movie-musical Mamma Mia will be bringing some sunshine and cheer to St. John's Church Hall, Canal Street, Long Eaton as part of the dementia friendly film screenings for 2020.

The doors open at 1pm on Tuesday 25th February, the film starts at 1:30pm and finishes around 4pm.

The film features Meryl Street, Pierce Brosnan, Amanda Seyfried, Colin Firth and Julie Walters and is a feel-good, romantic musical comedy based on the hits of Swedish supergroup ABBA including Mamma Mia, Waterloo, Dancing Queen and more.

This screening is specifically designed for people living with dementia, their friends, family and carers.

Cost per person is £4 including tea, coffee, biscuits and cake, although patrons with dementia may bring one carer, family member of friend for FREE!  Fun film-related activites and chat will also be part of the event.

This event is wheelchair accessible but spaces are limited so please book in advance.
