October 2019: Go Yellow this October to raise funds and awareness for Treetops!

Published on: Tuesday, 30th July 2019

Members of the public are being encouraged to 'Go Yellow' later this year during what will be Hospie Care Week, to support Risley-based Treetops Hospice.

Treetops Hospice Care provides nursing care and emotional support for anyone affected by a life-limiting illness in Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. All services ranging from a Wellbeing Area to our Spa Days provided free of charge but the charity needs to raise over £3million each year, relying on the support from the public in order to provide a vital local service.

October is Go Yellow, with the public being asked to think of baking yellow themed cakes and putting them on sale, making sunflowers or yellow paper chains, or paintings, sponsoring a teacher, friend or colleague, having a custard pie tossing competition,t taking part in a fancy dress or dress down event or day.

You can find further details here, e-mail community @ treetopshospice.org.uk (closing the gaps in the e-mail address) or call on 0115 949 1264 and ask for Claire or Cheryl.
