A Range Rover stolen in West Yorkshire has been discovered in the south of the Erewash borough after Police received reports about an abandoned and insecure vehicle.
On 27th April, officers from the Long Eaton Safer Neighbourhood received reports to attend the vehicle which had been left in Acton Road in town.
After initial investigations, it became clear that it had been stolen from Bradford on the 24th April.
PC Ramshaw who attended the scene said: "I would like to thank the member of the public who reported the suspicious vehicle, which we believe was stolen from West Yorkshire and we will investigate further. We hope to reunite the Range Rover with its rightful owner and do all we can to identify who abandoned it in Long Eaton".
