09/11/2022: There is a warning that public services in Erewash are reaching breaking point. It is due to an influx of hundreds of asylum seekers staying in local hotels.

09/11/2022: Erewash MP Maggie Throup has used Prime Minister’s Questions in the Commons to ask Rishi Sunak to set a timetable to close asylum accommodation at two hotels in the constituency which are currently housing around 400 asylum seekers.
