Published on: Saturday, 13th October 2018

Detectives are appealing for information following a late-night robbery at a filling station in Breaston.

A man carrying a hammer went into the Jet garage in Wilsthorpe Road at about 10pm on Wednesday 10th October and demanded cash.

He forced the till and took a small amount of money, as well as a number of packets of cigarettes from behind the counter.  The offender then fled on foot in the direction of Long Eaton.

He was described as white, and was wearing black trousers and a black puffer-style jacket.

Police would like to hear from anyone who saw someone matching that description around the time or from anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage by calling 101, or by using the Police website or social media presences.  You can also call Crimestoppers in confidence on 0800 555 111.
