SUMMER KIDZ: Sporting Communities working in Long Eaton and Petersham

Long Eaton Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team and Erewash Borough Council are working with Sporting Communities - an organisation that specialises in engaging with people to help tackle anti-social behaviour through the provision of early intervention work.
Each Wednesday evening, the Sporting Communities Team will be bringing their vehicle as a hub in two locations in the Long Eaton area and setting up to work with young people in the community.
The vehicle has games consoles and they set up football and other team sports. If you know of a young person that would like something to do on a Wednesday evening, please let them know about Sporting Communities.
Details are as follows:
Wednesday 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th August 2024: Grasmere Road, Long Eaton from 5:00pm, Waverley Street, Long Eaton from 6:30pm
