Warm spaces across Long Eaton and Sawley this Winter

With the cost-of-living set to cause concern for some householders leading to conclude the need to turn off heating systems and electrical appliances in a bid to save money, Long Eaton and Sawley Churches have come together to offer what are being described as 'Warm Spaces' across the area this Winter.

  • MONDAYS: 
    • Petersham Hall, Grasmere Road, Long Eaton: 9:30am to 11:30am - including a hot breakfast and chat.
    • Christchurch Methodist Church, Derby Road, Long Eaton: 11:00am to 2:00pm - including soup and a hot drink.
       
  • TUESDAYS:
    • 'Time to Talk' at the Infusion Coffee Shop, Derby Road, Long Eaton: 1:30pm to 3:00pm for free hot drinks.
       
  • WEDNESDAYS:
    • 'Welcome on Wednesday' at St. John's Church, Canal Street, Long Eaton: 11:00am for refreshments, 12noon for a hot lunch, 1:00pm to 3:00pm for well-being activities.
       
  • THURSDAYS:
    • 'Together on Thursday' at Trinity Methodist Church, next to Aldi: 10:30am for hot drinks, 12noon for a hot meal.
       
  • FRIDAYS:
    • 'Food and Friends on Fridays' at St. Mary's Church, Wilsthorpe Road, Sawley (near to the Railway Station): 10:30am to 2:00pm for hot drinks, toast and soup.

All sessions are open to all and are free to use.
