Although the match started in dull, but dry conditions, after two hours the rain started – and it was still raining when anglers left the venue.

On Avon peg 13, Bob Greenbury also caught right from the start fishing with banded pallet tight to the far side.  When his bites there tailed off he switched to his margins and continued to catch carp from either side to end the match with 109-12 for the lake win and overall second place.

Ben Lockwood continued his run with another great performance from Thames peg 9, catch carp from various areas of his swim on pellet and corn to end with 92-05, third place overall and second on his lake.
