Warning over fraudulent calls from “Derbyshire Police”

Derbyshire Police officials have issued a warning after reports were received of calls being made on the afternoon of Monday 26th October 2026, using a 'number spoofing' technique, whereby the fraudster changes the number displayed on people's phones when the call comes through.
