Gary Pilkington

Garys journey to Erewash Sound began in 1980 when he first worked as a DJ at his local pub in Ilkeston called “The Concorde” on Green Lane,  after that he progressed to the Club Crockers/Kristies in Ilkeston where he worked for many years .

After his local work in Ilkeston ,Long Eaton ,Derby and Leicester ,he spent 7 years as a professional DJ working up and down the country opening clubs for the countries largest leisure company .

Radio has always been a passion and a calling, so the Erewash Sound Academy was the ideal opportunity he needed to take the next step .

Gary is thrilled to be given the opportunity to engage with the Erewash community and hopes you will enjoy his company, and not to serious look at life!
