Paul Glenn

Paul Glenn is one of the voices you’ll hear on Erewash Sound, bringing plenty of stories, a love of music, and the odd bad joke to the airwaves. A former DJ, Paul has spent the last 30 years in hospitality, running everything from restaurants, pubs and bars to even a couple of comedy clubs — proving he’s always been drawn to good music and people enjoying themselves.

For the last 20 years, he’s been heading up recruitment and HR for two major club and bar groups in London, helping shape teams across the capital’s nightlife scene. These days, he’s swapped the big city for familiar streets and finds himself back in his hometown of Ilkeston… though the accent never left.

A big music fan, Paul also claims to play the guitar and piano — a claim best described as enthusiastic rather than accurate. You can catch him on Erewash Sound every Friday morning, and he’s also known to pop up filling in for other presenters whenever duty (or the coffee machine) calls.
