Sign-up before 31st March for your 2025-26 brown bin and save £12!

Residents are being reminded that there is still more than a week left to renew or sign up for Erewash Borough Council’s garden waste subscription service for the reduced price of £25.

More than 24,000 residents have already taken advantage of the discounted offer to get their brown bins collected from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026.

Sign-up before the 31st March and you can save £12 on the full price of £37! (Additional bin subscriptions will be £18.75.) The price will be increased to £37 from Tuesday 1st April.

Residents can also renew or sign up on behalf of someone else. Simply head to erewash.gov.uk and complete the online form. There is also information on collections, what can go in your brown bin, and terms and conditions.

Councillor Mark Alfrey, the borough council’s Lead Member for Environment, said: “A big thank you to those who have already signed up for the council’s garden waste collection service. With Spring upon us, people will be getting out in their gardens again and we want to make sure they don’t miss out on the discounted price of £25. It’s easy to sign up, just head to the council’s website and complete the online form.”
