Derby College Group receives platinum award and retains National Quality in Careers Standard

Derby College Group (DCG) has expressed collective delight after retaining the national Quality in Careers Standard using the Career Mark approach provided by Complete Careers.

DCG has achieved Platinum status, the highest level, that is only awarded to a handful of organisations. This achievement is in line with a commitment to delivering outstanding career education, information, advice, and guidance (CEIAG) to its students.

The Quality in Careers Standard is a nationally recognised accreditation that highlights excellence in career development provision in schools, colleges, and other educational institutions. Using the Career Mark framework, DCG has consistently demonstrated high standards in helping students build career readiness, develop employability skills, and achieve positive destinations after their studies.

The report outlines “This is an excellent achievement and recognises the quality and breadth of your careers provision. This award is a reflection of the hard work of everyone at DCG to ensure the best possible outcomes for all of our students.”
