Build memories with bricks and play!

Looking for free, family-friendly fun this February? Erewash Museum has plenty of activities for you over the half-term break.

Dive into the museum’s free Play Zone which provides plenty of bricks and puzzles for children to explore and solve. Colouring activities will also be available to help spark imagination, making it an ideal event for creative minds.

That’s not all, for just £2 you can grab a puzzle pack to become a spy, solve clues and win a prize!

During the half-term break, Erewash Museum will open for an extra day on the Wednesday. The Bricks and Play Half Term Hangout will be available from 18-20 February, 11am-4pm. There’s no need to book, just pop along and have some fun.

Erewash Borough Council’s Deputy Leader Becca Everett, who is the Lead Member for Community Engagement, said: “We want Erewash Museum to be a valuable resource for local families, especially by providing activities to keep everyone entertained during half-term and across the year. With the chance to get creative, solve puzzles, and be social with other families, the museum is also a wonderful place to support children’s development.”

Erewash Museum welcomes 20,000 people a year. It is normally open from 11am to 4pm on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays – and is free to visit. During school holidays it also opens on Wednesdays. Refreshments are available at Dalby House Café.
