An introduction to upcycling and crafting: a short course

The Ilkeston campus of Derby College is to play host to a short course offering an introduction to upcycling and crafting.

The 6-week run is on Tuesdays during term time from 5:30pm to 8:30pm from 17th March to 5th May.  Adults aged 19+ can take part for FREE at the Pimlico site. (2 Pimlico, Ilkeston. DE7 5JS)

There will be an opportunity to learn basic craft theory and simple upcycling techniques using recycled materials like:

• origami and iris folding
• decoupage and glass painting
• macrame and hand sewing
• tin embossing
