‘The People’s Emergency Briefing’ Film Screening: West Hallam: Saturday 13th June

On Saturday 13th June at 1.30pm, at the Community Centre, Station Road, West Hallam, local community group Eco Erewash are putting on a free showing of the recently released documentary ‘The People’s Emergency Briefing ‘ which has been shown at more than 400 locations across the UK.

This 45 minute documentary is introduced by Chris Packham and features footage from last November’s National Emergency Briefing in Westminster Hall London which brought together leading UK experts in climate science, food security, health, economics, national security and nature. The Briefing was attended by over 1,200 people including over 200 MPs

Following the screening, there will be an opportunity to discuss the film and exchange views and opinions. Councillor Greg Maskalick, Mayor of Erewash will be there in his official capacity.
