Police officers from the Long Eaton Safer Neighbourhood Team have participated in a training operation involving multiple agencies including Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire & Leicestershire Fire Service and East Midlands Ambulance Service, along with several role actors that gave up their time to volunteer and role play for the the operation.

Officers joined the training operation to reflect a real life major incident, which was seen as a great way to put joint working into practice and work along side colleagues from agencies that are not usually seen day to day.

Looking forward to future partner training operations, a statement said that Long Eaton Safer Neighbourhood Team officers thoroughly enjoyed the exercise and many learning points were taken from the operation.
