This week we welcome Catherine and John of Vet Care at Home to the studio

In this conversation we chart the journey of one couple who took the conventional vet business model and turned it completely on its head. To say they are disruptors in the veterinary world would be a huge understatement and this story spans the years it took them to go from a completely new, not-done before concept of providing top quality vet care to animals in their own home, right through to being able to do surgeries on driveways and now, into their new era of end of life services including cremation, completing the full circle of pet care.

What happens when you make waves in such a traditional industry? How do you try something that’s never been done before and not fall into pit falls so deep you can’t get out? This story is about a man who thinks differently, and there’s no doubt that John is a maverick in his field, a man who has ideas and is not afraid to step into those ideas to make them real. This story is about a woman who understands the goal, and can execute on the work needed to get there. Together they are quite a force, enough to change an industry for the better and to embark on a completely new idea and bring it successfully to their market.
