Chamber hails King Charles III’s coronation a ‘momentous day’ for the country

The Chief Executive of the East Midlands Chamber has described the coronation of King Charles III as a "momentous day'" for the country.

Sending congratulations to the former Prince of Wales who ascended to the throne after the sad death of Queen Elizabeth II, Scott Knowles and said the event was also momentous for the Royal Family.

He said: "We wish to congratulate His Majesty on his coronation and have great confidence in his ability to serve our nation at home and abroad as figurehead of the Commonwealth, whose members include important trading partners for our region's businesses."
