Nearly 700 Derbyshire businesses have already benefited from free support to improve their energy efficiencies and growth, thanks to a project being promoted by The East Midlands Chamber.
A new plan has been drafted by Derbyshire County Council and residents are being encouraged to give their views and help to shape the future direction of the authority.
Following the end of an open consultation on national planning, the East Midlands Chamber has urged the Government to act on the asks in its Manifesto for Growth, which include speeding up planning permission and bringing in the private sector to support local authorities.

Erewash is poised to get an electric charging station for 22 vehicles – complete with two new eateries where drivers with cars plugged in can top up their own batteries.
A second new bridge over the Erewash Canal has been given the formal go-ahead after the borough council granted planning permission.
Employees working for Northern, which runs services through Ilkeston Railway Station, are being given special training to help protect the rising number of vulnerable people using the railway.
Changes are being introduced at the Ilkeston Household Waste Recycling Centre, starting with a change to opening hours.
A spokesperson for the East Midlands Chamber has said that high borrowing costs can delay spending plans, following the Bank of England’s announcement to keep the interest rate at 5%.
