Long Eaton Natural History Society is appealing for new members to help with conservation in the area, and efforts to prevent developments deemed to be detrimental to local interests. The group keeps records of flora and fauna as well as retaining a record of knowledge of natural history. Long Eaton & District Art Club is seeking new members to join them at regular meetings and other activities. The club meets every Wednesday evening at Christ Church Methodist Church, Derby Road in Long Eaton. Admission to each session costs £1.50 with an additional annual membership of £15.00.
