15th Long Eaton Sea Scouts WSJ Poland Fundraiser: Sunday 14th June

The 15th Long Eaton Sea Scouts are holding a WSJ Poland 2027 fundraising Summer Fete this Sunday 14th June from 10:00am to 3:00pm at their headquarters on Tamworth Road.

There will be a craft fair, food and drink, ice cream, face painting, games, plants, cakes and lots more including carnival style games.

This event will raise money for two Scouts who have been selected as part of the UK contingent to go to the next World Scout Jamboree in Poland in 2027.  They need to raise the money to be able to attend, gaining skills for life along the way, and part of their fee enables Scouts from less fortunate countries to also attend.

Scouts due to attend the Jamboree will be running stalls along with their supporters. Refreshments include pulled pork cobs and chips.

Entry is free and this event is also dog-friendly. All are welcome.  Go along, grab some unique Fathers Day gifts, have some friendly fun and support your local scout group and local stallholders.

Attendees will also have the chance to get tickets at £2.00 each for a Duck Race to be held on Saturday 11th July at Trent Lock, for the chance to win a cash prize.
