Alzheimers Society: Dementia Action Week: Community Event: Tuesday 19th May

As part of The Alzheimer’s Society’s Dementia Action Week, a community event is being held in Erewash at Erewash Voluntary Action on Granville Avenue, Long Eaton (NG10 4HD) on Tuesday 19th May from 10:00am to 2:00pm.

If you, or someone you close to you, is living with memory loss or dementia, you are not alone.

Attend this event for a safe, welcoming space where experienced advisers are here to listen, understand, and support you and you can drop in anytime on the day.

Dementia Advisers will be on hand to offer the support you need with experience in working alongside diverse communities.  A private room will be available for sensitive discussions or prayer, there will be multilingual information or the option to provide this where needed, and there will be support that respects your community, background and identity.

Access is step-free, wheelchair accessible, there is an accessible toilet and assistance dogs are welcome.
