Derby College Group is inviting employers, charities, training providers and community organisations to take part in its Inclusion Showcase 2026: Celebrating Diversity, Empowering Voices, taking place on Thursday 26th March 2026 at its Broomfield Hall Campus in Morley, Ilkeston.
The free, ticketed event will run from 10 am to 3 pm and will bring together organisations from across Derbyshire that are committed to inclusive employment, accessibility, and equal opportunity. The Showcase offers a powerful platform for organisations to promote their work, meet potential partners and connect directly with future talent.
At the heart of the event is the Reverse Jobs Fair, hosted by Derby College Group’s Supported Internship students. In this innovative format, students lead the conversations — introducing themselves to employers, sharing their skills and aspirations, and exploring real, paid employment opportunities in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
For stallholders, this is a unique opportunity to:
Meet motivated, work-ready young people
Demonstrate your organisation’s commitment to equity and social impact
Build relationships with education providers, charities and employers
Raise your profile as an inclusive, forward-thinking organisation
The Inclusion Showcase will feature organisations and initiatives working across:
Accessibility
Neurodiversity
Mental health
Cultural awareness
Equity in education and employment
Free exhibition stalls are now available to organisations who would like to showcase their services, vacancies, support programmes or community work, and to be part of a collaborative event that is actively shaping the future of inclusive employment across the region.
Amy Bacon, Supported Internship and Work Experience Lead at Derby College Group, said: “The Inclusion Showcase is about changing the way employers and young people connect. Our Supported Internship students are talented, motivated and ready to work — they just need the right opportunities.
“The Reverse Jobs Fair flips the traditional model on its head, giving students the chance to shine and employers the chance to see what inclusive recruitment can really look like. We’re proud to bring together organisations that share our commitment to building a workforce that reflects the diversity and potential of our community.”
Derby College Group’s Supported Internship programme helps young people with additional needs move from education into paid employment through tailored training, real-world work experience and strong employer partnerships. The programme supports organisations to develop inclusive workplaces while building a reliable, skilled talent pipeline.
