Harvest Moon Festival – Kirk Hallam Community Centre

We are excited to be hosting our own Harvest Moon Festival here at Kirk Hallam Community Centre on Saturday 26th September from 4pm until 9pm this autumn equinox!

Harvest Moon Festival is an ancient tradition where people come together and connect around the full moon of the autumn equinox, give thanks for gathered crops, share food, fellowship and fun together, this is a perfect weekend to get everyone out of the house and bring friends and the whole family down to the community centre!

Activities Include –

Stalls – Treat yourself or find a next birthday or Christmas gift for someone at the numerous stalls of local small businesses

Games – Join in for some light hearted fun in numerous games hosted on the day

Music – Gather round and sing along to some live music

Food – Enjoy seasonal food, a traditional staple of the Harvest Moon Festival

Lantern Parade – Join in with FREE lantern making and the twilight lantern parade

Parking and Accessible Parking are available, but spaces are limited so it is important to arrive in a good time to secure your spot!
