LENS Wildlife Walk – ‘Pewit Carr Local Nature Reserve’ – Monday 8th June

The Long Eaton Natural History Society are holding another of their popular Wildlife Walks on Monday 8th June at Pewit Carr Local Nature Reserve.

To take part, meet at the free car park outside the old golf club building, 40 West End Drive, Ilkeston. DE7 5GH, at 2:00pm to visit this new reserve on the site of the former Pewit Golf Course. led by Caroline Pollard and Jamie Lim.

LENS Membership costs £25 per year for all events, except those defined as ‘specials’. All LENS Wildlife Walks cost £15 per year, otherwise, the cost is £2.50 per event. Participants in walks are encouraged to wear waterproof clothing and footwear as they are often on muddy or uneven ground, and in the event of uncertainty over the weather, to check that any event is going ahead.  Please note that photographs taken on LENS Wildlife Walks may be posted on the LENS Facebook page.
