Erewash Sound’s ‘Good Gig Guide’ — is a brand-new on-air feature designed to showcase local entertainment, and help get more people through your doors.

Here are the listings for w/c 5th January 2026:

Saturday 10th January: The White Lion in Sawley – Doors open 7:30pm, gig starting at 8:00pm.
A Flock of Sequels – an 80s covers band will be performing in The Old Brewery.
The venue also hosts a regular Wednesday Quiz Night – starting  at 8:00pm.

Saturday 10th January: The Latch Lifter, South Street, Ilkeston – 9:00pm start.
Hoodoo Brown – a covers band specialising in classic rock, soul, funk and country – entry is FREE

Saturday 10th January: The Spanish Bar, South Street, Ilkeston – 9:00pm start.
NG Groove – a six-piece covers band performing 70s Disco and 60s Motown and Soul.

Sunday 11th January: The Spanish Bar, South Street, Ilkeston – 4:00pm
The Rockin’ Ratbags are a duo bringing you the best of the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s.

Sunday 11th January: The Latch Lifter, South Street, Ilkeston – from 5:30pm.
Guilty Pleasure – rock group – entry is FREE

Prapai Thai: Serving from The Latch Lifter, Prapai Thai, dish up authentic Thai food from Thursday to Sunday, to eat-in or take away. Follow Prapai Thai on Facebook, or call  07899 535537 for more information.

Brett and Rachel at The Presley Bar and Suites on Dallimore Road, Kirk Hallam, welcome you to their public bar with regular entertainment.  They have private function rooms available for hire for most occasions including weddings, wakes and meetings.
