The Landlords and Agents Forum 2026

People who rent out local properties to tenants are being invited by Erewash council to a free event next month – so they can get to grips with new legislation that is coming in on 1st May.

The Landlords and Agents Forum 2026 is being staged on Tuesday 24th March in the Pavilion Suite at Morley Hayes from 12:30pm to 3:00pm, ahead of key reforms that will take effect as part of the Renters’ Rights Act.

These include an end to no fault evictions, banning rental bidding wars and giving tenants more freedom to have pets.

Erewash Borough Council has teamed up with Amber Valley and Derbyshire Dales councils to host the forum in partnership with two industry bodies for landlords. Also on the agenda will be Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards – a requirement for properties to meet EPC ratings.

Refreshments will be provided.
