This spring, experience the passion, drama and breathtaking music with our friends at the Ukrainian National Opera as they bring one of the world’s most iconic operas to the stage.

First, Puccini’s Madama Butterfly – one of the most colourful and exotic works in the operatic repertoire. Set in Japan, it tells the tragic story of a doomed love affair between an American naval officer and his young Japanese bride, whose devotion and defiance lead to heartbreaking consequences.

Performed by the acclaimed Dnipro Opera from Ukraine, featuring internationally celebrated soloists, a full chorus, and a live orchestra of 30 musicians travelling from Dnipro, don’t miss this unforgettable production, coming to Derby’s Vaillant Live, on March 17th and 13th March at Winding Wheel Chestefield.
