
Ilkeston Police officers are appealing for witnesses after a man was seriously injured in a collision in the car park of McDonalds, in Ilkeston.
The incident happened shortly after 10:30am on Saturday 7th June when a black Fiat Abarth collided with a pedestrian in the Rutland Street car park.
The pedestrian, a 21-year-old man, sustained a broken leg and will require ongoing medical treatment.
A 22-year-old man, the driver of the car, was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
He has since been bailed, pending further enquiries.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who saw the incident, and particularly those in the area at the time who have dash cam installed in their vehicle.
