Bikers who enjoy stunning scenery in Derbyshire are being encouraged to complete a questionnaire set up by Derbyshire Constabulary.
The aim of the consultation is to learn more about what bikers think are the main risks of riding on county roads.
Police officers have recently been highlighting the work the police bike team who have been out on weekends within the Peaks, with a comments section of online posts often featuring a range of views around what the “main issue” is, and opinions that there is a focus by officers on the wrong things.
In response to this feedback, bikers are being given an opportunity to influence what officers do, by giving views from the perspective of the rider.
A statement said: "All we need you to do is give us your honest views. The questions are all multiple choice with responses being anonymous. They cover aspects such as what motivates you to ride, what you think the highest risks to riders are, and how confident and experienced you feel you are.
"From this, we can continue to work with organisations across Derbyshire to tackle the real-life issues that bikers have highlighted. The questionnaire will take no longer than five minutes but will provide us with an indication of the views and experiences of the bikers we’re trying to help.
