Car seized in Breaston after checks showed three failures and drugs find

A recent patrol carried out by Long Eaton Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team officers led to a vehicle being seized in Breaston.

Checks on Police systems showed that the Ford vehicle had no insurance, no MOT and the driver had no licence, leading to it being seized under Section 165 of the Road Traffic Act.

During the incident, officers stop searched the passengers and found a small quantity of cannabis on their person for which relevant action was taken.
