Chief Constable issues statement after the Proclamation of His Majesty The King

Following the proclamation of His Majesty King Charles III, Chief Constable Rachel Swann, on behalf of all Derbyshire Constabulary officers and staff, pledges her allegiance to the King in accordance with the oath officers took at their attestation.

Chief Constable Swann said: "I would like to send my deepest sympathies to our new King on the passing of his mother, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, and on behalf of everyone at Derbyshire Constabulary, I wish him well as he begins his role as our nation's Sovereign.“God save the King.”
