Could you be a victim of crime?

If you’ve experienced behaviour that makes you feel scared, distressed, or threatened, it may be a crime and can be reported to the police. Even something as simple as receiving repeated unwanted messages could count as harassment.

Derbyshire Police and Crime Commissioner Nicolle Ndiweni-Roberts (PCC) wants to hear from residents about their experiences and concerns. Victims are at the heart of our criminal justice system, and the PCC is committed to improving support, holding offenders accountable, and helping people recover.

The next Public Assurance Meeting (PAM) will focus on Supporting Victims and Safeguarding, a key priority in the Police and Crime Plan. Residents are invited to submit questions on this theme to shape the discussion. Questions will be answered by the Chief Constable or relevant specialists and published after the meeting.

Submit your questions by Wednesday 3rd December 2025 via this link. The meeting takes place on Monday 2nd February 2026. Responses are available via the Commissioner’s website and social media channels.

For more information on how the PCC is working to protect victims and improve services, please visit the Commissioner’s website and follow her social media channels.
