Officers from Ilkeston Safer Neighbourhood Policing team are investigating incidents relating to repeated shop theft from an Ilkeston convenience store.
The incidents took place on 1st April at the ASDA Petrol Station on Nottingham Road.
Images from CCTV picture a man wearing a distinctive grey and white padded coat, light blue jeans and grey trainers and what appears to be a dark grey, black or green coloured 'Bench' branded cap.
He was also unusually carrying a shopping bag with a picture of 'Elf' from the Will Ferrell Christmas film.
Anyone with any information which might help trace this man, wanted for questioning in relation to the incidents, is being asked to contact Derbyshire Police quoting incident reference: 25*189777, using any of the following contact methods:
