Erewash Ramblers have helped raise a significant sum after members took part in an annual charity walk.
The event, held in aid of the MacMillan Cancer Support, took place on Wednesday 17th September, starting from Trent Lock and culminating with a coffee morning in Long Eaton, hosted by Erewash Ramblers member, Sue Mottershead.
The walkers braved the rain and were rewarded with coffee and cakes, as part of the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning. A tombola and other donations raised £600 for the charity.
Any local resident who wants to join the Erewash Ramblers should contact the Publicity Secretary, Stephen Bate, by email at: publicity @ erewashramblers.org.uk
