Firefighters are continuing to deal with a fire at a recycling facility off Merlin Way in Ilkeston following a call to attend the site at 22.49 hours on Tuesday 23 March.
Crews from Ilkeston, Wirksworth, Clowne, Bolsover, Alfreton, Chesterfield, and Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Services Stapleford have been working at the scene alongside the site owners and partners from Derbyshire Constabulary, the Environment Agency, the Canal & River Trust and Network Rail.
Work is expected to continue throughout the day.
Local residents are being asked to keep windows and doors closed due to the smoke from the incident.
